Stop buying
what you already own.
Pantry keeps a live inventory of the food in your house. Scan a barcode on the way in, and it tracks what you have, what it cost, how fast you get through it, and what is about to go off. Shared across the whole household.
A working sketch
These are the four screens the app is being built around. Click through them. This is a mockup, not a live build, so nothing here talks to a real pantry yet.
Opinions, not features
It predicts, it doesn't guess
Reorder timing comes from your household's actual consumption rate, not an average shopper's. If your milk lasts five days and the carton says ten, Pantry believes your kitchen.
Rules, not a chatbot
Every suggestion traces back to something you can inspect: a purchase date, a usage rate, a shelf life. No opaque model deciding you need eggs. If it is wrong, you can see exactly why.
Built for a household, not a person
Share one pantry across everyone who shops for it. Add oat milk to the list from the office and it is on your partner's phone before they reach the store.
Waste is the point
The average US household throws out around a third of the food it buys. Pantry tracks what is about to turn and tells you while you can still cook it.
Want to try it?
Pantry is being built right now. It is not finished, and the first builds will have rough edges. If you cook for a household and that sounds interesting rather than annoying, I would genuinely like your help testing it.
